Clancy y Build forman su nuevo proyecto 'Miroir' quienes tras pasar un año trabajando en varias producciones disco-electro-synth y realizar remixes para Yeasayer, Minitel Rose o Phoenix ahora el duo anglo-australiano presentan su nuevo EP 'So Fewer Particles Scatter'.

Cinco temas de lo más variados, desde sonidos analógicos y disco pasando por golpes de batería estilo house hasta potentes bajos mezclados melodías robóticas.

After Shelby Grey's release, Holographic People, the Barcelona-based label brings the next batch from the imprint.

Clancy and Build compose their new project 'Miroir', who after spending last year working together on numerous disco-electro-synths productions and remixing for Yeasayer, Minitel Rose or Phoenix now the Anglo-Australian duo present their new EP 'So Fewer Particles Scatter'.

Five quite varied tracks that go from analog and disco sounds, house drum beats to chugging bass mixed with robotic melodies.

Ayer Kaiser Chiefs volvían a dar señales de vida con su aparición en el show de Zane Lowe de la BBC; tras estar tres años totally missing, Ricky Wilson nos presentaba su nuevo tema 'Little Shocks'.

Tras su último trabajo en 2008 'Off With Their Heads' los chicos de Leeds nos presentan su nuevo tema con vídeo incluido. Éste formará parte de su cuarto álbum, el cual sigue siendo un misterio ya que aún no hay fecha de salida ni ninguna otra pista…

Con 'Little Shocks' vemos a unos Kaiser Chiefs mucho más maduros donde dejan atrás sus pegadizas y divertidas melodías, habrán dado un giro completo a su sonido?

Los británicos ya van cerrando fechas en Australia y Europa, de momento pasarán por nuestro país el próximo mes de Julio en el BBK Live.

Yesterday Kaiser Chiefs showed some signs of life with Ricky Wilson's appearance on BBC Radio Zane Lowe's show; after being three years totally missing, Ricky presented their new track 'Little Shocks'.

Their latest work was on 2008 with 'Off With Their Heads' and now the Leeds boys present this new track with video included. It will be included in their forth album that is still a mystery, as there's no releasing date yet and any other clue...

With 'Little Shocks' we see a more mature Kasier Chiefs that leave behind their funny and catchy melodies, will it be a full turn to their sound?

The British are closing tour dates in Australia and Europe, for the time being they will be in Spain next July at BBK Live fest.

Con Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) a la voz y el savoir faire de Mehdi y Riton nos encontramos con un fantástico tema como este.

Alexis tampoco pierde comba, ya que parece que le ha tomado el gustillo a eso de las colaboraciones; Bernand Summer, Shit Robot, y aquel inovidable 'Sorry' junto a Justus Kohnke son algunos de sus últimos feat.

En enero Simei Dublinski, aka Druma Kina, se presentaba con su EP 'Walking Away' que contenía tres remixes, entre los que destacaba el del ruso Cosmonaut Grechko. Y ahora el brasileño ha decidido devolverle el favor.

Victor Klyuchnikov, más conocido como Cosmonaut Grechko es un productor ruso de 20 años, quien tras realizar varios remixes para Chilly Gonzales, Metric o YYYs acaba de sacar su segundo EP 'Alaska', que incluye colaboraciones como las de Joywave y She's The Queen y varios remixes.

El brasileño ha elegido 'All I Hear', donde añade un toque nu-disco de lo más marchoso, take a listen!

PROCESSORY / Recovery Measures

Processory son un dúo finlandés que mañana lanzan su álbum 'Change Is Gradual' vía Sugarcane Recordings, pero lo mejor de todo no es el álbum en sí, sino el paquete de remixes que vienen con él.

Serán tres series en forma de EP donde el primero en salir es 'Recovery Measures'; lo hará el próximo 21 de junio e incluirá remixes de Aeroplane, CFCF y Hannulelauri.

La segunda parte 'Trickle Down' vendrá de la mano de Hercules & Love Affair, Jori Hulkkonen y Siyoung (28 de junio); y el último, 'Engage' lo cerrarán Renaissance Man, Pink Shull y My Favorite Robot (5 julio). Un buen pack que se dice!

Processory is a Finland duo whose new album 'Change Is Gradual' drops tomorrow via Sugarcane Recordings, but the album releasing is not the best thing, is the bunch of remixes that accompanies it.

It will be 3 EPs and the first one to be out is 'Recovery Measures' next June 21st; it will feature remixes by Aeroplane, CFCF and Hannulelauri.

ONE MAN PARTY / May Mixtape

Uno de los Soulwax, Steve Slingeneyer (aka One Man Party), se ha unido a la moda de los mixtapes mensuales, esta vez del mes de mayo que acaba.

El mix en cuestión es una oda al camino conduciendo hacia los clubs los fines de semana. Cuenta que cuando empezó a ir a raves siempre preparaba una cinta en especial para cada noche. Si nunca habían escuchado al dj de turno, (pone como ejemplos a Derrick May o Carl Craig) se ponían a tono escuchando su música durante el trayecto desde Ghent a Bruselas; y recuerda al 'Fuse' como uno de sus sitios favoritos. Lo que daríamos por haberlos escuchado en sus comienzos!

Aparte de tocar la batería en Soulwax, Steve suele viajar por todo el mundo con sus Djsets, que describe como: "suenan como Keith Moon y Animal de los Teleñecos se uniesen a Diana Ross en una batidora mientras Henry Rollins mira". Pues eso.

One of the Soulwax guys, Steve Slingeneyer (aka One Man Party), has joined the monthly mixtape trend, this time for this ending month of May.

The mix in question is an ode to driving to nightclubs in the weekends.He says that when he first started going to raves,they would always have a tape ready to go for that special event. If it was any dj playing that they'd never seen (he quotes as examples Derrick May or Carl Craig) ,they would get psyched up by listening to all their music during the hour drive from Ghent to Brussels; and he remembers the legendary 'Fuse' as the club they went to the most.We would had killed to listen to them at their beginnings!

Apart from playing drums in Soulwax, Steve travels all around the globe with his Djsets, which describes as: "sound like Keith Moon and Animal from the Muppets double teaming Diana Ross on top of a mixer while Henry Rollins watches". Just to get an idea.

Los de Zarautz pueden presumir de haber sido incluidos en la lista de Pitchfork como Best New Music y haber tocado en el Coachella el pasado mes de abril, no se puede pedir más!

Ahora nos ofrecen 'Grow' acompañado de tres remixes, el de Taragana Pyjarama, Teengirl Fantay y Black Dice, que saldrá el próximo 30 de mayo vía Mushroom Pillow.

It's been a year since one of our fav bands released one of the best 2010 albums, 'Subiza', and now to close this stage they drop the last and third single, 'Grow'.

The Zarautz guys can boast about having been included in Pitchfork's Best New Music chart and having played at Coachella last April, you can't ask for anything else!

Now they offer 'Grow' accompanied by remixes by Taragana Pyjarama, Teengirl Fantay and Black Dice, that will be out next May 30th via Mushroom Pillow.

DCODE FESTiVAL 2011

Ya queda poco para el DCODE, el recién llegado festival madrileño que aunará lo mejor de la música independiente tendencias de vanguardia y el arte. Ya conocimos su cartel completo hace tiempo y ahora ya están los horarios disponibles. Habrá 3 escenarios, dos principales y uno más pequeño, el Eastpack-Mondo Sonoro, dedicado sobre todo a sets más íntimos. La gran noticia es que los dos escenarios grandes (DCode 1 y Dcode 2) no coincidirán en hora en sus respectivos conciertos, evitando las temidas solapaciones. Además destacamos la buena distribución de los conciertos, bastante homogénea, ya que los que somos asiduos al panorama festivalero sabemos que no hay nada peor que lo huecos de no-hay-nada que ver entre concierto y concierto. Os recordamos que bandas como Kasabian, Jamaica y Crystal Castles forman parte del cartel, puedes consultar los horarios aquí.

Aparte de su apuesta por la música (el día 24 más orientado al punk rock americano y el panorama nacional y el 25 más al indie y al electro), DCODE se centrará también en el arte. A la propuesta 'Art Barter' se suman artistas como Miquel Barceló, Boris Hoppek, Ouka Leele, Javier Mariscal o Eugenio Merino.

Hace unos días se anunció que los abonos a precio promocional (60e) están volando, así que no te lo pienses mucho! DCODE festival tendrá lugar los días 24 y 25 de junio en el C.D. Cantarranas, en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

DCODE fest is just round the corner, the newcomer festival set in Madrid which will unite the best of the independent music, vanguard trends and Art. We already knew its complete line up some time ago and now the timetables are available. There will be 3 stages, two main ones and a smallest one, the Eastpack-Mondo Sonoro stage, mostly devoted to more intimate sets; the great news are that the two main stages (DCode 1 and Dcode 2) won't coincide in time during its respective gigs, avoiding the feared overlaps. We also want to highlight the great bands distribution, quite homogeneous, as festival goers we all know that one of the worst things in a fest are the have nothing-to-see moments between show and show. We remind you that bands as Kasabian, Jamaica and Crystal Castles are part of the line up, you can check the timetables here.

Apart from its bet for music (on the 24th more oriented to American punk rock and national scene and on 25th more to indie and electro), DCODE will also focus on Art. To the 'Art Barter' proposal have joined artists such as Miquel Barceló, Boris Hoppek, Ouka Leele, Javier Mariscal or Eugenio Merino.

Aleluya! Por fin podemos ver el vídeo de Justice!

Tras formar parte de la nueva campaña de Adidas, 'Civilization' ya tiene imágenes.

Dirigido por Edouard Salier (Massive Attack) podemos ver el contraste entre la etapa prehistórica (con estampida de bisontes incluida) y grandes monumentos de la humanidad, como el Cristo Redentor, el Monte Rushmore, el Stonehenge, Buda y la misma Justicia representada, un apocalipsis en toda regla.

El próximo 6 de Junio saldrá un EP que incluirá el vídeo y los remixes de Mr. Oizo y The Fucking Champs, el álbum lo hará este otoño... así que no nos queda otra que seguir esperando..

After being part of Adidas campaign, 'Civilization' has already images.

Directed by Edouard Salier (Massive Attack) we can see in it the contrast between the Prehistoric Age (bisons' stampede included) and the bigs monuments of the Humanity, as the Christ the Redeemer, Mount Rushmore, the Stonehenge, Budha and even the real Justice representation; a true apocalypse.

Next June 6th will be drop an EP that includes the video and remixes by Mr. Oizo and The Fucking Champs, the album is coming this fall... so, we have no choice but keep on waiting..

Hace unos días nos mostraban el teaser y por fin lo tenemos aquí; Is Tropical nos presentan su vídeo para su próximo single 'The Greeks'.

Dirigido por Mefaforce, ha sido rodado en un 'suburbio' en Francia donde los protagonistas son unos niños representantes de la mafia.

Según Megaforce, el vídeo representa la canción, 'habla de todo, un poco de nada, de ser joven, de algo.. nos gustan los niños, las pandillas, la imaginación.. abarca la línea entre la nostalgia y el visual death-porn de nuestra generación'.

Un vídeo muy divertido con pistolas, sangre y drogas incluidas!

According to Megaforce, the video represents the song, 'it's about evertyhing, and kinda nothing, and being young, or something.. we like kids, we like gangs, imagination.. it straddles the lone between nostalgia and the visual death-porn of our generation'.

It's a very funny video with guns, blood and drugs included!
